The works displayed here include both photography and

design. I have taken photographs for school assignments such as photojournalism and a look book for a magazine which I designed.

For this assignment, we were tasked to produce a photo-essay on a chosen topic. The topic I chose to focus on was 'Busking'.

My aim for the essay was to showcase the passion behind the lost art form of these street artists as contrary to popular belief, not all are driven by the monetary rewards for busking on the streets.

Equipment used: Canon 70d

This was a couples look book that I curated. I styled, shot and edited each look individually. It was my favourite assignment as it was my first time with complete freedom to direct and design both the article and photoshoot.

design

For our journalism module, we had to produce a magazine. My group decided to cover fandom culture with a Valentines Day theme.

I shot, designed, edited and wrote articles for the magazine. It was a challenging assignment however it was one of my favorites from the year.

The assignment allowed me to better understand the process of creating a Design Progress Journal.

All brands have their individual image that needs to be consistent yet unique. I viewed other GIFs and took down features of what I liked and wanted to incorporate.

As the art director, I took charge of the visual style of the video as well as aligning it with the director's vision. The process involved creating art decks, sourcing for props and even creating my own props at times.

Because this video follows a narrative, I applied the technical skills I picked up during my internship as well as the fundamentals I was taught in school. Every prop on the screen tells a story - just like every line in a script.
